Finian MacCana is an optometrist and a founding shareholder of Optomeyes, a group of 12 optometry practices in Tasmania. His principal place of practice is Sandy Bay and he currently lectures part time in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Tasmania Medical School. He also is the visiting optometrist at the University of Tasmania and regularly visits the part time rural practices at Oatlands, St. Helens and Swansea.

Mr MacCana is a Fellow of the British College of Optometrists and the Victorian College of Optometry. He is a former director of Advanced Ocular Systems Limited, Diabetes Australia (Tasmanian Division) and Laubman and Pank Holdings Ltd and is a consultant to national and global companies involved in eye care. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Colin Coverdale had an impressive career in British Petroleum, holding senior positions in New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific, prior to running his own information technology company. He joined KPMG in New Zealand as a Director of Business Strategy, and has since held positions as CEO of a retail stationery and bookstore chain, a telecommunications software organisation, and an electronic measurement company, Managing Director of a retail store design and build group and a steel fabrication company.

He is currently the founder and Director of the Opportune Group, a business strategy consultancy based in Sydney and holds several directorships, including not for profit and health-related sectors. He is currently President of the NSW Institute of Management Consultants.

Ray Fortescue is an optometrist practicing full time in Ramsgate Beach Sydney. He commenced work as an employed optometrist in 1979 and opened his practice at Ramsgate Beach in 1980. The practice is one of the 16 practices included the initial transaction.

He is a member of the Australian Optometric Panel and the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a non-executive director of Eyecare Plus Limited.

Ray continues to work within the business at the Ramsgate Beach practice.

Bob Rollinson is a successful business executive with over 40 years experience.

He has held chief and senior executive positions in companies in Australia and overseas mainly focused in the energy, utilities, infrastructure and finance sectors in companies including Pacific Power, National Power, BurnVoir Partners, Chase Manhatten Bank and JP Morgan. Prior to retiring from full time employment in 2009, he spent the previous seven years with the Macquarie Group (Macquarie Bank) in senior roles in Australia, USA and Canada.

During his career he has been deeply involved with developing and transitioning businesses and driving operational improvements. He also has extensive experience in the business sales, acquisitions, mergers and financing.

Bob is an experienced board member of private and publicly listed companies. Currently he is Chairman of the Sydney Catchment Authority and has held Board positions in publicly listed companies including energy retailer, Australian Energy (ASX Listed) and Macquarie Power Income Fund (TSX Listed) and a number of non-listed companies.

He holds an Honours degree in Engineering, Master of Engineering Science, a Post Graduate Diploma of Management and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.

Michael Kotow is a registered optometrist. His executive career has involved working for a number of multinational companies. These include Allergan Inc. and Cooper Companies both listed on the New York stock exchange and Biocompatibles International who is listed on the London stock exchange.

With 20 years of retail experience in the Australian and Asian markets he has also worked with multinational retailers such as Luxottica and Specsavers, large domestic players such as ProVision and Eyecare Plus through to the smaller independents. His previous roles have included Vice President - Asia Pacific for Coopervision and Managing Director of Hydron
